The extremely successful Roamin Angels ‘Cruisin the Pines’ Car Show 2023 was held at Nevada City Tech Center in Nevada City and co-hosted by Classic Car West Nevada City. It was a gorgeous day – not too hot but warm. The majestic pines provided shade while letting the sun shine of almost 200 gorgeous and some different vehicles. While the comments were mixed, most people enjoyed the new venue. We are looking forward to next year’s show!
There is a lot to putting on an event. Pulling it off with a group of dedicated Roamin Angels volunteers is even more amazing. A lot of fabulous people planned, worked and executed this wonderful car show at our new venue – Classic Car West Nevada City and Nevada City Tech Center.

I went to the drag races at Sonoma Race track on Friday, July 26. This picture right) is of Shirley “Cha Cha” Muldowney. She was the first successful woman pro-woman drag racer. She competed with the men in the NHRA and had a long career drag racing. There was even a movie made about her life and career in racing.
