Some Things Are Relative
Do you remember that feeling of falling in love? The excitement, anticipation, anxiety…all those feelings all at once? Let me tell you a story about first love. First, David and I are blessed with nine wonderful grandsons ranging in age from 2 years to 24 years old. Fly-In and Open House
There were about 10 Roamin Angels and friends that came to the “Fly-in and Open House” at the Nevada County Airport on June 3, 2023. Aviation Appreciation Day, lots of visitors, cars and airplane people. It was a fun day.Lots of car clubs joined the fun, maybe about 50 to 60 Special Interest cars showed up. There was food, drink and ice cream. Also the Pancake breakfast was a big success. Great Fly-Overs, and the model planes were very exciting to watch. Great Day!! Richard, Pat with the Roamin Angels

Cars & Coffee – May 2023
Cars and Coffee happens every Saturday from 7am to 10am at McKnight Crossing, Grass Valley. Shine up those gorgeous and not-so-gorgeous treasures and show them off! Always a great group and some interesting vehicles. Come and check them out.
Good Things Happen When Good People Step Up
Good things happen in the Community, in this Nation, in this World when good people step up. For 60+ years now the Roamin Angels Car Club has been stepping up in support of its’ community and neighbors. For about 25 years we have staged “Cruisin’ the Pines”, our classic car show, that has attracted visitors and cars from literally around the world. Recycled Roadsters Kick Off Event & Car Show
A huge THANK YOU to American Legion Post 130 of Grass Valley for hosting a wonderful event on Saturday, April 15 for the Scouts Kickoff for the Recycled Roadsters event! Adjunct Mike Hauser and his wonderful group of men and women did a fabulous job helping with the event along with club members from the Roamin Angels. Annual Members Meeting – April 8

Kudos and Announcements – May 2023
Fellow Roamin Angels…. I just wanted to offer my deepest appreciation for the Club’s participation in this past weekend’s Car event at the Veterans Hall. The goal of raising funds for the local Scouts and supporting Active Military families was just blown away successfully! You are a large component (as usual) of supporting America’s future and active Military and their families currently serving to protect that investment. Congrats to Dale or being the Boy and Girl Scout’s favorite car and winning Mr. Yedding’s handmade prize. Again, you guys and Gals…

In todays meeting for Armed Forces Day here May 18th the CHP announced that baring any disasters they WILL have their Helicopter here for the event and possibly a fixed wing. Come talk with the pilots and see the aircraft up close and personal.![]()

Had to get the '81 Vette smoged yesterday. The same results as it has been for years now. The '81 barely emits anything. Way... way...![]()

Thanks to all you crazy car peeps looks like we are going to be able to invest in all these kids and programs again this year. Numbers still being crunched. The Scouts, The High Schools, the Hands on programs. Pat the hood of your Rod and thank it for its' existence!
We love everything about these cars including the art in us they motivate. These pieces were at the recent "Crossroads" Car show. Several of these pieces were also past winners at "Cruisin the Pines" and appeared at the 2023 event.

The 35th GVDA Car Show was pretty darn good even with the Heat. Good selection of Cars and......PEOPLE. We work on gettin kids interested in these machines. We got to intro 3 week old Joulea Saturday. I see her as a Mustang Girl.......
