Growing up in the East Bay in the 50’s and 60’s it seemed like every community had one or more car clubs. And some of them had great names: The Push Rods, The Cruzers, The Cam Twisters, The Road Kings, and so on. Trailblazer July 2022
It was a great and noisy group that had a good time at Trailblazers. With the weather being hot we moved inside the cool air conditioner. Ron won the money of the evening. Summer Roaring Road Trip to Santa Cruz
Ten Roman Angel cars headed for a non-mystery tour to Santa Cruz on 14 June. Everyone had a history sheet to inform them of local events. They also had a road Jeopardy question sheet with 30 questions that had a $50 prize which was won by Jerry Brown. We had lunch at Casa de Fruta and on to Santa Cruz. At the hotel, some people went for dinner at Santa Cruz boardwalk, some had pizza and beer at the hotel and some of us walked to an ice cream shop…

As we have always done, Jean and I try to hire kids from the local High Schools to fill our company’s needs and help them work on their futures. Generally they were from the R.O.P. programs at NU & Bear River’s…..”Regional Occupational Program”…which today is the “Career Technical Education” program. One of the first kids we hired were Daughter Jessica and Son Joe of Bear Rivers’ Auto Shop program teacher Bob. That gives you some idea how long ago that was. Thanks to the hard work of Jim and Kriss S., 25 vendor spaces were sold. People walked away with a lot of “cool stuff”. In todays meeting for Armed Forces Day here May 18th the CHP announced that baring any disasters they WILL have their Helicopter here for the event and possibly a fixed wing. Come talk with the pilots and see the aircraft up close and personal.![]()

Had to get the '81 Vette smoged yesterday. The same results as it has been for years now. The '81 barely emits anything. Way... way...![]()

We love everything about these cars including the art in us they motivate. These pieces were at the recent "Crossroads" Car show. Several of these pieces were also past winners at "Cruisin the Pines" and appeared at the 2023 event.

The 35th GVDA Car Show was pretty darn good even with the Heat. Good selection of Cars and......PEOPLE. We work on gettin kids interested in these machines. We got to intro 3 week old Joulea Saturday. I see her as a Mustang Girl.......
