Downtown Grass Valley Car Show 2022

Saturday, April 23, 2022, Downtown Grass Valley: You take your chances having an outdoor event in April as you never know what the weather will bring. But two years in a pandemic has made everyone throw caution to the wind. Kinda Like Old Times

Those of you attending our Roamin Angel’s yearly meeting in February heard me talk about efforts to help jump start the Grass Valley Downtown show. Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

The Vets put on a spaghetti fundraiser for the local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. About twenty Roamin Angels attended to support the event. The dinner was delicious and it was great to see the younger generations involved with these great organizations.  Several people took advantage of the Girl Scouts selling cookies.  It was a fun event and evening.

An Early Hot Rod Story

I guess my love for hot rods started when I was in high school. I spent a lot of time doodling pictures of them when I should have been doing my schoolwork. When I was around sixteen I found a model A body that I bought for $10. I then found a frame that I paid $2 for. Trailblazer Get Together- Feb. 2022

The Trailblazer Get Together was a casual and fun time! The Trailblazer Get Together hosted a group of about 15 members. General club information was relayed. The food was great and the company was even better. Get Togethers are the first Wednesdays of the month at Trailblazer Pizza in Alta Sierra. The 2021 Christmas Committee decided to do something different this year…we wanted to reflect our club and being together…thus, our theme – Together for the Holidays.  The beautiful centerpieces are all one-of-a-kind, interesting from all sides and include a classic car or truck.
