Colfax Car Show – August 17, 2019 The Colfax Lions held their third annual downtown Car Show Saturday, August 17th. The weather was a blistering 92 degrees but a breeze helped. Fifty five cars on hand, fifty less than the last two years, but weather was partly to blame. Eskaton Car Show – August 29, 2019 Nine Roamin Angels special cars went to Eskaton. The Residents came out to view our Special Cars and visit with us. At lunch we had good food and entertainment. 50’s and 70’s music. The residents and staff danced to the oldies. Had a great time. 4th of July Parade 2019

Continuing a tradition that began 118 years ago, Grass Valley hosted this year’s July Fourth parade.  It was in 1902 that an agreement was struck between Nevada City and Grass Valley to alternate the parade between the two communities.  Since then, Grass Valley has hosted the celebration on odd-numbered years and Nevada City on even-numbered years. Signed up for the combo General Meeting and Car Show Meeting on August 13th? I know a lot of you are. The gathering starts about 4:30pm at Condon Park. Come have a glass of a little something to ease the tensions. About 5pm the local cars and drivers from “The Great Race” will share their stories about the trek from Riverside to Tacoma.
