I guess my love for hot rods started when I was in high school. I spent a lot of time doodling pictures of them when I should have been doing my schoolwork. When I was around sixteen I found a model A body that I bought for $10. I then found a frame that I paid $2 for. The Trailblazer Get Together was a casual and fun time! The Trailblazer Get Together hosted a group of about 15 members. General club information was relayed. The food was great and the company was even better. Get Togethers are the first Wednesdays of the month at Trailblazer Pizza in Alta Sierra. Roamin Angels Annual Meeting was held February 8th at the Nevada City Elks Lodge. It was well attended and the group was energetic in the discussing the future of the club. On Saturday, December 11th, sixty-six Roamin Angels and guests attended the Roamin Angels’Together for the Holidays’ Christmas party held at the Nevada City Elks Lodge. The evening started with our club photographer, Edie H., taking ‘prom’ photos of the attendees. Then, to officially start the evening, Christmas carolers– 14-17-year old boys from Boy Scout Troop 232 – that were fun and at times funny with props and special sound effects, entertained us. Visiting with friends and listening to music gave us all a chance to get into the Christmas spirit….
