Trailblazers – June 2021

We had 16 at Trailblazers. The food was good and it was so nice visiting and seeing our friends. The patio was great with a cool breeze. Steve B. won the 50/50. This Is High School Auto Shop?

George Woodward and Kelsey Langel invited me to spend the afternoon in the auto shop. I thought I was in a college environment as the class is almost three hours long and very detailed.  In this class students were taught to clean the main bearings and install after measuring. Ten boys and one girl were full of enthusiastic energy. The shop was beyond anything I had in High School with half a dozen car hoists, brake, wheel, valve grinder along with tons of other equipment. Retire Your Old American Flags Properly If you’re like me we all wear out a couple of American flags per year. Those flags need to be retired properly. Remember back to the Clubs Car show days and one of the popular events was Troop 855’s evening Flag retirement ceremonies. Those scouts collected and retired some 600-800 flags at each event.
