Thank you for the support at the recent Grass Valley Car show.
The Roamin Angels donated space, signage and handouts at the recent GVDA Car Show to help our Ukrainian friends and the cause of freedom. This is "Yari". He speaks English and Ukraine. He and his Dad will be at the American Legion Taco Night Tuesday May 3rd, 6pm. They are raising money to buy Combat tourniquets to send home in support of their relatives in Ukraine. Post 130 will donate the evenings income to that cause. Call 530 575 7002 to join in. Have some Tacos, hear the inside scoop, help them fight back.

I spent some time with my fellow gear heads at the Cars and Coffee car show in the old Kmart parking lot. It was a great turn out this morning! Patrick here used to work with my dad at the Forest Service and was glad to show me his 64 1/2 Mustang beauty. I told him it was a nice Ford, and suggested he swapped in a fresh small block Chevy to help make it a bit more reliable. Thanks to the community for supporting our "Toy Drive" as well as all the other attempts to support the community ie: "Toy Run", GVPD's Gift tree, Toys for Tots, the Sheriff's dept fund raiser, the Food Bank's food drive etc etc. Great job Nevada County!
We'll be raffling away a chance to have Artist Len Nordmann render your classic. Be at Cars and Coffee on 12/4 for the Toy Drive, make a $10 donation and you're in the drawing to win!
For the 32nd year the Roamin Angels are staging their "Toy Drive". Like last year we are partnering with the Marines to raise funds and collect toys on behalf of our community. See us at various locations 11/27 then....... Come have some fun on 12/4 at "Cars and Coffee" in the GV SPD lot. Music, fun, and the big car art prize.

The Community Shines Big "A" fund raiser series for the Food Bank came to a conclusion last evening. The winners? 1 st place Ken and JoAnn with their 1954 Mercury and in 2nd, Mike and his 1927 Model T Roadster. Thank you to everyone who sponsored, came, watched, displayed and contributed. $7,000 was raised to help feed our community.
Added Bonus!! Come meet local artist Len Nordmann at Wednesdays Big "A" Community Shines Championship. Len will be there to answer questions about doing your art & your vehicle. 5pm - 7pm, 9/22, Big "A" in Grass Valley.
