YOU ARE INVITED!! The El Tapatio Auburn show was shut down this Saturday by Auburn's Health Dept. If you know car owners in GV and Auburn areas, please help us out and tell them. We are concerned cars will show up at El Tapatio in Auburn and get upset we aren't there. Not sure how to tell those who don't have email and just like to show up.![]()

We moved it to El Tapatio in Citrus Heights. Dead Car Cruisin' Car Show is this Saturday with trophies, raffles, 50/50 too. This car show is a fundraiser for Shoebox for a Soldier and we have partnered with Blue Star Moms and will be donating the boxes to them. I'll post a "suggestion list" of things for the shoebox. If you choose, put it in a bag instead of a shoebox. 🙂

This coming Monday Legion Post 130's Jason Tedder has arranged for Lou Conter to tell his story. Lou is one of two surviving crew of the Arizona. What an honor to have Lou as a fellow Post 130 member. Appearing also will be Stan Zabka and Frank Lujan World War II veterans available to tell their stories.![]()

Toys for Tots and the Roamin Angels Toy Drive Teams had quite a successful day this past Saturday. Thank you Community! We'll be out again this next Saturday ...December 5th.... at the same locations same times. Start your day with Babs and Jamie at the Cars and Coffee, SPD center GV and them head out to the many donation locations. It's all about the kids folks!!!!

You know the problems we've faced this year. Problems are meant to be overcome. God has yet to make a mountain than man can't conquer. The Marines? The Roamin Angels? Big "A"? Riebes? At 2pm Friday the weather channel had it raining Saturday. Judy from Big "A" was by as well as Don the Alta Sierra Home owners president so they drew the "Poker Cruise" winner Friday. Congrats to Joe Weathers '69 Barracuda for winning the $200. Posters are underway and will be ready soon. See you Saturday at Cars and Coffee.
We'll try and announce the winner at Cars & Coffee this Saturday. It's supposed to rain.....and we need the rain!!!.....so if it does we'll go to plan "B" and notify the winner by phone. It's a Win-Win situation. Had a great turn out. Raised some money for the merchants and the GVDA. Stay tuned. More adventures in the works.
