Even during the pandemic – the Toy Drive is a huge success!
I want to Thank EVERYONE that helped with this year’s 2020 Roamin Angel Toy Drive! Thank You! Thank You!
Mike H., Gary B. and myself worked together to put on this year’s Roamin Angels’ Toy Drive. It was a very different event from previous years. We had seven locations for two Saturdays that we the Roamin Angels and Toy for Tots put up with tables and signs. We were asking for cash or check donations.
We parked our Great Cars to show them off to the public. Gary Blum visited our Car Show Sponsors and other businesses and had great response. The checks came pouring in. Our seven locations collected over $6000.00!
Now to spend the money we had collected and help the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots.
The Roamin Angels this year partnered up with Toys for Tots (Marines), Salvation Army and the Nevada County Food Bank. The Salvation Army had over 224 families sign up this year. This is down from previous years. Pam D., Jean H.r and myself went shopping and bought lots of toys and some clothes.
Thank you all again for putting smiles on our local Children’s faces!
