From Mike… Jim and I were talking after the Survey and Car show meeting about a few subjects. How we got turned on to these cars, engines and fun 5 etc. The common thread was the social aspect and making your brain work with your hands. Hands on stuff was great and it produced cruisin’ 4th street on Friday nights in San Rafael with the buddies and girl friends in my case. What can I say?
I can say the target for the 2025 is just that. Jean and I and the Committee chairs want to make this a super fun event and motivating experience. We want kids and families to just have a great time. We want them to see and touch these magical pieces whether it be a classic boat, car, RV, motorcycle, trailer or off road toy. We all will prove a Cell phone is not life. Adios TIK TOK!!
We’ll be filling in details about the show on a routine basis to everyone but right now the major GREAT news is the September 6th “Cruisin’ the Pines” will be back at the Fairgrounds! That news has been leaked out in the last few days and the social media chatter is off scale positive with many non Club members wanting to help!
Join in. Let the chairs know you’ll help. Spread the word. Invite your friends. See something great in your travels? Share the show info. Know some families and kids looking for a fun day…maybe enjoying GVPD’s Bike safety rides…. share the info.
The next show meeting will be April 15th, 4:30-5:30, GV Vets Hall. The focus will be marketing/promotion of the event. You’re invited.

Mike and I were so impressed by the energy and enthusiasm of everyone. This year’s car show is going to be one of the best of the best….. and what makes that happen is all the people who stood up to volunteer. Below is a list of current volunteers.
