We all had a great time at the “Car Poker Cruise” Saturday October 3rd. Some 40+ cars signed up to support downtown businesses by parking in town and exploring the 13 stops on the “cruise”. Because of those 40 car owner’s generosity, approximately $600 was raised to help Grass Valley’s Downtown Association support the town’s business activities.
I was on site talking pictures and tried to anonymously watched the civilians stop at the various cars and check them out. Just like at “Cars and Coffee” and “Cruisin’ the Pines”, the classics are ‘magnets’. “Wow look at that!” was an oft repeated phrase.
