Eleven cars went down on Saturday Sept 4, 2021 to “Back the Blue” car show in Auburn at the El Tapatio Restaurant.  Everyone brought items to be sent to our Military.  The Shoe Boxes were full! Crossroads California Car Show

Patrick Hauser of The Real Graphic Source and his Staff put on a one-day Car Show on August 28th.  It was held around the Crossroads Church on the corner of Wolf and Combie off Highway 49.  The day was hazy and smoky and not real hot, nice breeze.  The Car Show had about five artists who showed and sold their Art.  Music was playing, the hot dogs were ready to eat and then for dessert was “Lazy Dog” Ice Cream.  Approx. 75-plus Special Interest Cars were on display.  It was…

Community Shines: Week #5 and #6

Community Shines – Grass Valley Graffiti Event Series WEEK #5: Senior Iron and Week #6 4WD Adventure Combined. Trailblazer Pizza Night August 2021

The August’s TrailBlazers evening was nice, not too hot with a breeze on the Patio.  Sixteen Roamin’ Angels and Friends met and enjoyed the good food and the visiting.  Bob N. won the 50/50 that evening.   So on the evening of September 21st at 5:00 pm come and enjoy the Friendship with us, and  maybe you could be the winner of the 50/50 raffle. Report From Pleasanton “Good Guys” Car Show

I drove up to Carson City and spent the night with my nephew Mark and his wife.  He has a red ’29 A two door sedan.  Also he is finishing a ’39 Chevy sedan.  We drove down to Pleasanton in his 1999 Dodge Ram dully.  We wanted to enjoy the air conditioning comfort.  After four hours of driving, through smoke on Hwy 88 to the valley, we arrived at our hotel.  We did see the smoke plumes from the south of the Caldor fire.
