Father’s Day Car Show

In honor of Father’s Day, a car show and bbq was held at Spring Hill Manor convalescent home. Dave B.’s mom is a resident and his dad use to be before he passed away last year. Diane asked if club members would participate in showing off their cars. Bruce and Dee Ann B., Richard G., Karin R., Ken B., Bob L., Dave and Barbara G., Dave R., new members – Ray and Kris G. along with Dave and Diane B. showed up with ten classic cars.
The residents from both Spring Hill Manor and next door, Sierra View Manor (Assisted Living Residence) enjoyed the car show immensely. Afterwards the participants and the residents were treated to a delicious hamburger and hot dog barbecue. The Activities Directors Meghan and Dolly dressed in their ‘Pink Ladies’ jackets appreciated our club taking the time and showing off our cars for the residents so much!
All in all, it was a warm, relaxing, and fun day.
