Roamin Angels’ Car Show Meeting

Tuesday, April 15, 2025 • American Legion Dining Hall • Report by Jean & Mike  H., 2025 Car Show Co-Chairs

Each of us has our own stories on how we came to like these Classics. How we came to be “hands on”, creative, make it work folks.

The focus for the 2025 “Cruisin the Pines” is to create an environment that today’s “Us” get turned on like we did. We want families to come to the show.

The adults will love the classics whether it’s a car, a two or 3 wheeled beauty, one of those beautiful Wooden boats, or a Hot Flat bottom that makes noise and puts a smile on Dad’s face.

We want them to think about the adventure possibilities when they tour a classic trailer or RV and talk with the owners. We live in an area packed with physical fun & challenges be it on a dirt bike or off road monster. We’ II provide the up close and personal access to these toys.

The kids?  The Roamin’ Angels have a great history of providing environments that kids of every age got to get up close and personal with these cars. We have routinely visited the schools to give the kids of all ages a chance to touch, sit in, be cool and dream about using their hands and brains.

That’s what 2025 will be about. We will have a full range of hands on, sit in, take a picture with, create art opportunities. Turn them on …they, us and our Country will enjoy the results.

We have been working with our partners at the Fairgrounds and this year’s show promises to be a show stopper. Most of our volunteer positions are filled, but we do need some volunteers to help with Product Sales (t shirts), Registration, Parking Attendants and Beer/Wine Pourers. Step up to the plate and volunteer. Call Jean at 530.271.1731 (office) or 530.268.3436 (evening).

What better way to spend the day …. helping with the car show, visiting Roamin’ Angel friends and enjoying the cars, boats, trailers and anything else on wheels in one of the most beautiful car show venues, our beautiful Fairgrounds.

Jean and I invite you to join in …. 5/15/25 (high five!) for the next meeting.

P.S. Don’t forget the FREE June Country Music Festival at the Fairgrounds by displaying your classic to add some flavor and pump up our Sept Show. About 5 slots left.

The Historical Society has some toys [to show off] too …
