The Bob Hope event was wonderful. We had great weather, and the presentation was excellent. It honored our Vietnam veterans, both living and deceased, as well as the MIAs. I remembered three people who were lost and had a significant impact on my life: Greg Fischer, Jackie’s brother; Michael Kerch, a close friend from high school; and Larry Price, who was also a POW and a special person in my life who left us far too soon. I kept in touch with Larry’s mother every year until she passed away. Veterans deserve our thanks and support. We must ensure they receive the care they need, as many of them put their lives on the line for our freedoms. Thanks to Claude, Mike, Gary, and all the volunteers who worked together to make this event a success. They did a great job!
