WHY: The Great Race is coming to Grass Valley
WHEN: Monday, June 24th (parking 9 am until approx 4 pm)
WHERE: Park on Main Street between S. Auburn and Church Streets
If you would like to Display and Volunteer your “Special Car” on Main Street contact Pat G. and get on the list. We have 50 spots. Parking starts at 9 am and you must be parked by 9:45 am.
Volunteers are needed at the street closed off areas, helping park the “Great Race” cars, Greeters with information and gift bags.
On Monday, June 24th, the Great Race with 130 cars will come into Grass Valley. Opening Ceremonies start at 11:30 am. The cars will start arriving approx. 11:45 am. They will be having lunch at Tofanelli’s. Great Race cars will be entering at S. Auburn St. and parking on Mill Street with our Volunteers helping. Exiting at 1 minute intervals on Mill and Neal Streets. The last GR car will be leaving Grass Valley at approx 3pm. Grass Valley has 3 teams entered in the Timed – Endurance Race. The Roamin Angels are honored to help out.
