“Obstacle” – barrier, hurdle, stumbling block, bar, block, impediment, hindrance, snag, catch, drawback, hitch, handicap, deterrent, complication, difficulty, problem, disadvantage, baulk, curb, check, stop, interference. obstruction, barricade, blockade, informal fly in the ointment, hiccup, facer…..oh yeah Virus!
Unfortunately…oh yeah, Virus. This micro bug has put a damper on several local happenings.
It became obvious as a result of the Governor’s declaration that “Drive and Survive™” 2020 would have to at least be postponed. Our schools, kids, teachers and parents will have enough to do when we finally can resume normalcy and they return to the classroom. I am looking into rescheduling the driving event in the Fall. Unfortunately, even advanced planning is hard because the College, which controls the facility, is also closed.
GVDA has also just recently announced that the Downtown Car show scheduled for May 2nd has also been postponed (at least). Only Mr. Klein would know if that has ever occurred before.
Breakfast? On hold for the time being.
