Auburn Cruise : July 2025

Cruised down to Auburn Cruise Friday, There wasn’t a large participation this month, not like I have seen in the past cruises there. Everyone was blaming the heat, it was 98, but it is always hot in Auburn in the summer. Maybe there is alot going on with summer and thee kids and Grandkids out of school.I had a good time though, and met up with a few of the hot rodders from Mels. I was told there was about 60 or 70 cars by one of the volunteers. They did’nt need to turn the cars around at the top of Lincoln. I like it there even though it is normally hot and the turn around can be kind of chaotic. They have plenty of volunteers who have been turning cars around downtown for a long time though. If you get there early, you can park in front of one of the restaurants, go in cool off, have a bite to eat or a drink and watch people walk by and check out your car. They had the misters on at the Station House patio. I don’t know if I want to be misted but you can go in and cool off. All the downtown restaurants have  good eats. I talked to Mike, one of the leaders off the cruise night, he and other volunteers would like me to take some photos of them with their cars. I told him I was with the Roamin Angels and would definately do it, probably at the September. cruise as  we both will be at Hot August Nights which falls on the Auburn Cruise Night in August. All you hot rodders keep the wheel side down! Until next time. Your Roving Reporter, Don
