NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS: Notice is hereby given to all members in good standing of the Roamin Angels Car Club, Inc. that on March 20, 2014, the Board of Directors approved the Proposed Roamin Angels Election Policy for submission to the membership. The Membership shall have the right to either accept or reject this proposed Policy. A secret ballot vote will be conducted during the next General Membership Meeting to be held on May 19, 2014, at the Salvation Army Annex Building, located at 10725 Alta St., Grass Valley, California. This meeting will begin promptly at 6:00 P.M.

Mustang Club of America 50th Anniversary Celebration: There are two venues - Charlotte, NC and Las Vegas, April 16th through the 20th. I will be attending the one here at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Regrettably, I will not have my prized 1964 1/2 convertible here to register for the event, but will just be a very interested spectator. I'll report back next month with details and pictures of the goings on.

Terry - PresidentPresident's message
Spring has sprung, the clocks have been moved forward and the rods, classics and Roamin Angels are primed and ready for another season of fun, food and maybe a beer or two. Our new Events Coordinator, Shelly Penrose, has taken charge and the Club Calendar is already filling up.

Landon S. has two events on the books; a Spring Fling in April and his Annual Tahoe Cruise in June. Kathy E. is hard at work planning some great Patio Dining Cruises with the 1st coming up on April 10th at Johnny Garlics Grill in Roseville. In May she's scheduled a Private Wine Tasting/Pizza Party at Sierra Knolls Winery on Hwy 49 just north of the Bear River Bridge. Diane B. and Dee Ann B. have already held two monthly Game Night/Pot Luck Dinner Events with 10 more to go. Tony M. has scheduled his 3rd Annual Auburn Mid-Summer Car Show and Poker Run for June 28th at Mel's Drive-In. And, of course, on April 26th is the Annual Downtown Grass Valley Car Show. Please check the Club Calendar and get in contact with the event coordinators to reserve your space for any of these events.

If you have an idea for a Club Event, please contact Shelly Penrose to discuss the details and to get your event on the Club Calendar. Shelly is currently looking for a few volunteers to coordinate and lead some of the events that are already on the Calendar. Usually an Event Leader's duties are nominal. Pick a spot and time to meet and circulate a sign-up sheet at Breakfast and Pizza Night gatherings. If a flyer is required, Shelly can arrange with Mike H. to get it produced. So, please help out Shelly and the Club by taking on one of these events – its fun!

On April 4th and 5th ACCC will conduct its 28th Annual Spring Legislative Conference at the California Auto Museum in Sacramento. Greg M. and I will be attending the conference on Friday and Dave B. and I will attend on Saturday. We will make a report to the members in next month's newsletter.

I cannot overemphasis the importance for all members to attend the next General Membership Meeting on May 19th at the Salvation Army in Grass Valley. In addition to the normal reports from the Board, a secret ballot vote will be conducted. This will be a straight up or down vote to approve or reject the Proposed Election Policy that the Board has been working on for the past 3 months. Unless you attend this meeting or officially notify the Corporate Secretary, Karin Robinson, in writing assigning your Proxy Voting Right, you will not have the opportunity of expressing your voice on this critical issue. Please refer to the copy of this Policy and the 1st Notice contained within this month's newsletter. Any questions regarding the policy or the vote to approve or reject may be directed to any Board member.

Enough Said –Have a Safe and Wonderful March – Keep all 4 on the Road
