What is the connection between the Salvation Army and the Roamin Angels? It is a friendship and a common interest in doing for those in need at the holiday season. The Roamin Angels hold the toy drive and collect a lot of “goodies” for the local area disadvantaged kids. We also help to distribute the toys and holiday dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We work in conjunction with the Salvation Army. We help the Salvation Army conduct the interviews and then assist with the actual distribution for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We work together as allies. Simple as that.
- Assist with the annual interviews with people who are asking for assistance during the holiday season.
- Hold our annual Toy Drive to gather toys and donations to give to the Salvation Army.
