Good turnouts at Cars and Coffee lately. The weather has not been cold in the morning and it has actually been warm . We are taking advantage of the good weather as winter is on it’s way. A great day for Mustangs today. 12 in all…I think that is a new league record. No Mustang club,just many indivduals today. It’s funny how that works at Cars and Coffee, it happens often that there will be many of the same models that will just show up to Cars and Coffee. Sometimes though a whole club will come just to go on a run.The Grass Valley Cars and Coffee is pretty well known now.  This 39 Packard was the hit of the day. It was originally from Missouri, purchased by a friend of the current owner who lived in Palo Alto. He rebuilt the the motor which is the original straight eight

18 Roamin Angels came to have a good meal and support the Club. It was Christy’s birthday and we had Cheesecake and Cookies. It was the big 50/50 give away and Dale L had the winning ticket. We will still have Trailblazers in November and December. But the raffle event starts again in May 2026. Come have some fun and enjoy visiting with friends.

Ray Yedding, Roamin’ Angel President EmeritusAugust 10, 1936 – November 5, 2025 It’s been said that Ray might not remember what year something happened, but he could tell you what car he was driving—and the names of everyone who was there. Early Years Born in Dubois, near Pittsburgh, PA, Ray grew up in Richmond, Indiana as the adopted son of Maria and Robert Yedding. His Bavarian father was strict, and Ray was naturally a bit rebellious. In high school, he dove headfirst into the hot rod scene with the support of an understanding shop teacher. His first car was a ’36 Packard 120 convertible coupe he never got to drive, followed by a ’36 Ford 3-window coupe that held a special place in his heart forever. The mornings are beginning to get a little brisk at Cars and Coffee. The brave souls that risk the cold will not be detered though and there has been good turn outs. Many head to the donut shop early or to breakfast at IHop and back to the parking lot for the regular Saturday morning get together and drivers meeting. It’s a good time all in all. Nine Roamin Angel couples joined in the cruise to Fort Bragg,  Andersons, Ballards, Jerry & Sheila, Claytons, Granholms, Hessels ,Mullins, Netzs and the Pritchards. We left Grass Valley from the Donut Shop on October 23 and traveled around to Lower Lake to the Konocti Casino for breakfast and gas fill-up. Leaving Lower Lake,  we traveled over the Hopland Pass,  which was a real test of our cooling systems, and entered the Anderson Valley wine region.  Following Hwy 128 we cooled down the redwood forest which led us to the coast and Hwy 1 and on to Fort Bragg. Dinner that night was on your own. The next day after breakfast we traveled Don’s Kustom’s Shop just in the redwoods outside of town. Don took us through his large shop and showing us car restorations in progress, After shop tour everyone was on their own, some went to Botanical Gardens, some went
